This dark balsamic is one the finest grades of aged balsamics. Produced in Italy's traditional style, the Solera System, it is aged in chestnut, oak, mulberry and ash barrels. The density comes naturally without thickeners or added sugar. It is simply from cooking the balsamic in copper kettles and letting it age for a length of time. This balsamic is exceedingly rich, complex, and dense. Use for vinaigrettes, glazes, marinades, bread dipping, drizzling over fruit, vegetables or to marinate meat and poultry.
